3I/ATLAS and NIBIRU
I have been hesitant to comment on 3I/ATLAS for a number of reasons. Mainly, though, it’s because I want my work on a holographic universe to be taken seriously and not laughed off due to some other statements I might make that are even further out of the mainstream. Fortunately, I have some pretty heavy hitters in the field of physics who have come out and explained exactly why they have concluded that we’re living in a holographic universe: Leonard Susskind, Gerard ‘t Hooft, Juan Maldacena, Jacob D. Bekenstein, Stephen Hawking, to mention just a few. You can read some of their comments here.
I took a chance when I wrote two posts about Edgar Cayce as new scientific evidence corroborated predictions he made over 80 years ago because, well, it’s pretty amazing.
But to talk about 3I/ATLAS is very risky, especially when you hear what I have to say. The fact is that Avi Loeb, a theoretical physicist who chaired the Harvard University Department of Astronomy from 2011 to 2020, says that there is a “40% chance” 3I/ATLAS is an alien spacecraft “based on its chemical and orbital anomalies.” And Loeb is no slouch. He is the Frank B. Baird Jr. Professor of Science at Harvard, a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Physical Society, and the International Academy of Astronautics.
Since 2017, Loeb has argued that alien space craft may be in our Solar System, and that Oumuamua and other interstellar objects, including the reputedly interstellar meteor CNEOS 2014-01-08, are potential examples of such craft. These claims, however, have been widely rejected by the scientific community. And yet, Loeb remains at Harvard, and his list of honors and awards is quite lengthy.
While admitting that 3I/ATLAS is most likely a comet of natural origin, Loeb lists 8 anomalies that endow it with a rank of 4 on the Loeb scale, where a rank of 0 is for a definitely natural interstellar object and a rank of 10 is for a definitely technological object. The 8 surprising properties of 3I/ATLAS are as follows:
1. Its trajectory is aligned to within 5 degrees with the ecliptic plane of the planets around the Sun, with a likelihood of 0.2%.
2. During July and August 2025, it displayed a sunward jet (anti-tail) that is not an optical illusion from geometric perspective, unlike familiar comets.
3. Its nucleus is about a million times more massive than 1I/`Oumuamua and a thousand times more massive than 2I/Borisov, while moving faster than both, altogether with a likelihood of less than 0.1%.
4. Its arrival time was fine-tuned to bring it within tens of millions of kilometers from Mars, Venus and Jupiter and be unobservable from Earth at perihelion, with a likelihood of 0.005%.
5. The gas plume around 3I/ATLAS contains much more nickel than iron (as found in industrially-produced nickel alloys) and a nickel to cyanide ratio that is orders of magnitude larger than that of all known comets, including 2I/Borisov, with a likelihood below 1%.
6. The gas plume of 3I/ATLAS contains only 4% water by mass, a primary constituent of familiar comets.
7. 3I/ATLAS showed extreme negative polarization, unprecedented for all known comets, including 2I/Borisov, with a likelihood below 1%.
8. 3I/ATLAS arrived from a direction coincident with the radio “Wow! Signal” to within 9 degrees, with a likelihood of 0.6%.
And today, in an article written for Medium, Loeb adds a 9th anomaly…
Loeb writes: “Davide Farnoccia, a navigation engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena who received his PhD in Mathematics from the Galileo Galilei School of Graduate studies at the University of Pisa, Italy, reported the first evidence of a non-gravitational acceleration by 3I/ATLAS.”
Loeb explained that “the non-gravitational acceleration might be the technological signature of an internal engine. This might also explain the report on 3I/ATLAS getting bluer than the Sun. For a natural comet this blue color is very surprising. Dust is expected to redden the scattered sunlight, and the surface of 3I/ATLAS is expected to be ~20 times colder than the 5,800 degrees Kelvin at the photosphere of the Sun, resulting in it having a redder color than the Sun. The blue appearance at perihelion is a ninth anomaly in the list of unexpected properties of 3I/ATLAS.”
Supposedly, on December 19th, we will know a lot more when 3I/ATLAS will arrive closest to Earth at a separation of 269 million kilometers, and hundreds of ground-based telescopes as well as the Hubble and Webb space telescopes will have the best opportunity to observe it.
But my biggest problem with the whole 3I/ATLAS phenomenon is that I can’t hear about it without Zacharia Sitchin coming to mind.
For those who have never heard of Zacharia Sitchin, he was a highly controversial author who sold millions of books worldwide and has been translated into more than 25 languages, starting in the mid-1970s and on into this century. His first, and most famous book was The 12th Planet. Here is the gist of Sitchin’s theories, as found in the Wikipedia….
“Similar to earlier authors such as Immanuel Velikovsky and Erich von Däniken, Sitchin advocated hypotheses in which extraterrestrial events supposedly played a significant role in ancient human history. He claims that thousands of clay tablets from ancient Sumeria tell the story of the Anunnaki as alien visitors to Earth, and that by the time the Sumerians emerged as a civilization, the Anunnaki had given people the ability to write, solve math problems, and plan cities—which led to the future development of life as we know it.
“According to Sitchin’s interpretation of Mesopotamian iconography and symbolism, outlined in his 1976 book The 12th Planet and its sequels, there is an undiscovered planet (called Nibiru) beyond Neptune that follows a long, southern-tilted elliptical orbit, reaching the inner Solar System roughly every 3,600 years. According to Sitchin, Nibiru collided catastrophically with Tiamat which he considers to be another planet once located between Mars and Jupiter. This collision supposedly formed the planet Earth, the asteroid belt, and the comets.
“According to Sitchin, Nibiru (called “the twelfth planet” because, Sitchin claimed, the Sumerians’ gods-given conception of the Solar System counted all eight planets, plus Pluto, the Sun and the Moon) was the home of a technologically advanced human-like extraterrestrial race called the Anunnaki in Sumerian myth, who Sitchin states are called the Nephilim in Genesis of the Holy Bible. He wrote that they evolved after Nibiru entered the inner Solar System, and they first arrived on Earth probably 450,000 years ago, looking for minerals, especially gold, which they found and mined in Africa. Sitchin states that these “gods” were the rank-and-file workers of the colonial expedition to Earth from planet Nibiru.” Sitchin says that his research coincides with many biblical texts, and that biblical texts come originally from Sumerian writings.
The important sentence for me is “there is an undiscovered planet beyond Neptune that follows a long, southern tilted elliptical), reaching the inner Solar System roughly every 3,600 years.” I hope you can see why this sets off alarm bells in my head. 3600 years ago, we would not have had the technology to detect Nibiru as it reached “the inner Solar System.” That would have been about 1600-1500 B.C., when the Egyptian civilization was thriving and inventing hieroglyphics, and Mesopotamia—home to the Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians, and Assyrians—saw the development of early city-states and cuneiform writing.
So is 3I/ATLAS actually the planet Nibiru, coming around for its regular visit after 3600 years in orbit around the sun? Obviously, I have no idea whether 3I/ATLAS and Nibiru are one and the same, or whether the whole Sitchin hypothesis is pure myth. But one thing I DO know is that anything is possible in a holographic universe, depending on which side of the bed the Demiurge wakes up in the morning. And while Sitchin’s version of the Sumerian story of the creation of the world and humanity may sound crazy, it’s not any crazier than some bearded, white-haired man sitting on a cloud somewhere creating the heavens and the Earth in 6 days.

That would be quite extraordinary if any Demiurge had the power to alter the entire hologram in such a manner. Reminds me of this video. The God Man
